My experience with shippr.in

 

I have taken a new house for rent and wanted to shift from  location to another. I checked with my friends on how to go about shifting all the luggage, furniture to new house/location. Though i have less things (2 Trolly bags, 4 beds, 5 medium size boxes, 1 laundry basket, Water can and some other small things. ) to shift, the distance I wanted to shift to is 15 KM. My friend suggested a place where i can find mini TATA ACE . He said they will get persons for loading and unloading as well. In turn they will charge around 1800/- rupees. This was the estimate he had given to me with his previous experience in shifting. I had to go out and find the place and book the vehicle. But had no time to do that due to some other important work. I searched online and found couple of sites which provides packing and shipping . Of them i found shippr  very useful. I provided my details like things to shift , from place , to place, from floor to  floor in a building. I got the quote for shipping including 2 persons for loading unloading of price 1100(500/- for transport, 2*300 for 2 persons loading from 2 floor to 3 rd floor , distance of travel 15 KM in tata ace.). I booked online at 9:00 PM and with in an hour  at 10:00 PM i got a call from shippr customer care about the correctness of information i provided and the price confirmation and booking confirmation. I confirmed the shipping and my shipping should start at 7:30 AM next day. At 10:10 I got a message about the driver details and shipping time. Packing was done by myself. Next day I gave a call to the deriver. Driver came at 7:45 with tata ace(With heavy traffic in bangalore, a delay of 15 mins acceptable ). Within 15 mins two persons loaded my luggage and within 45 mins  they reached the destination. They kept all my luggage in my house at 3rd floor. The whole process took 90 minutes right from start to end including waiting and payment. we started at 7:45 and reached new house at 9:15 with luggage and everything shipped into new house.

 

I found shippr.in service fantastic and a pleasant experience. I thought it would take 2000 rupees for moving into new house, but with shippr it took 1100 and the time of 90 mins. The loading and unloading guys are very helpful ,respectful and kind. Shifting is now easy.
