How to apply for LPG  gas connection

 

Go to nearest gas distributor agency.

If you enquire about the documentation , they will ask you to fill the form and submit address proof, id proof, bank account passbook or cancelled cheque leaf or bank statement, current bill, passport size photograph.In the one page application  form which will be given by the agency ,fill all the details and submit the documents required.

Agency will enter all the details  in the system and provide you a reference number for your reference. These details will go for verification to check whether you have any existing gas connection on your name or household. You need to call or visit again to know the status of the application if it is approved or rejected for new connection. Once the verification is done and then you are eligible for new gas connection, the distributor will give you the stove, regulator, pipe. You need to pay the amount to get these thing. You will get the gas connection passbook and the gas connection reference document.  Submit the adhar bank account linkage  declaration form along with the bank account proof to gas agency and the bank (which you have mentioned your bank account number in the application form).  Once aadhar number is linked to your bank account , you will get the gas cylinder delivered to home by the delivery person. You need to pay for the gas cylinder delivered.
